Energy Solutions have L3, L4 and L5 Capability
We can provide EPC certificates for buildings using either Simplified Building Energy Model (SBEM) or dynamic simulation. This means we can carry out L3, L4 and L5 work.
Level 5 work in undertaken on buildings that are termed as complex. Using dynamic and real time simulation methodologies, we analyse energy performance taking into account solar gains, orientation and natural ventilation systems. Such buildings might contain atriums, solar shading and other architectural features.
Combined Surveys
As our consultants are multidisciplinary, we can combine
both DECs and EPCs with AC inspections, thus providing
cost savings in work undertaken and in the recommendations
provided.
Energy Surveys & DEC Improvements
We can provide information on how to improve a DEC
rating as part of an upgraded energy survey – something
that we have vast experience of, including any monitoring
and metering equipment, and strategies for improvement/
quick wins.
Sensitivity analysis and EPCs
In a similar vein, we are also able to look at an EPC
rating and identify any practical and achievable
quick wins that would enable improvements to EPC
ratings.
