Energy Solutions Consultants specialises in reducing
carbon emissions, lowering the use of fossil fuels
and maximising the benefits that can be gained by adding
renewable technology options into an energy portfolio.
Whilst energy demand increases and the supply diminishes,
the economics for renewable energy and maximising the
efficiency of existing energy sources becomes more
attractive. Some of the largest ‘easy wins’ can be
obtained by applying energy efficiency measures to
existing operations and networks and our specialist
teams have been working with many business and authorities
to improve their use and minimise unproductive energy
losses.
We advise on the development of all supply sources
including wind farm and single turbine, hydropower,
geothermal, biogas and biomass, solar and PV, marine,
energy from waste and bio-fuel options. As well as
advising on the suitability of available options we
carry out the engineering and environmental studies
required to support these developments taking into
account the clients budgets and timescales.
Our energy efficiency and sustainable design teams
advise on Energy Savings Performance Contracting (ESPC)
and Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD)
supply side energy analysis, co-generation, distributed
generation and renewable projects as well as facility
improvement and optimisation projects from lighting
through to heating and cooling systems. We are able
to undertake energy assessment of air conditioning
systems in accordance with CIBSE TM44.
