Project Description

Commencing with the site selection and due diligence, we have lead and developed the designs for a Tier III data centre to meet corporate standards and engineering systems requirements. The primary focus on this data centre is the energy usage and environmental impact as well as delivering the project to time and budget

Specification

Strategic advice and assistance with the provision of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) and Facility Management (FM) services to a new data centre infrastructure. We provided full design services as lead consultant, monitoring and contract management from concept through to the Integrated Systems Testing (IST) in a live data centre environment. For audit purposes, we performed a risk analysis assessment, to the whole facility to eliminate any single point of failure (SPOF). We also carried out the assessment of specific FM service needs, preparation and assembly of documentation and the procurement and introduction of an FM provider. We are part of a 5-year Framework Agreement to undertake 6-monthly IST programme.
